The Connection between Chinese and Overseas Freight Forwarders

Mr. Jeffery G. Lee from Vanguard Logistics Services（HK）Ltd made a speech about the connection between Chinese and overseas freight forwarders in the ‘The Future 3-Dimensional Development Space for International Freight Forwarders’ forum which was held at 8th, Nov,2008.

He has mentioned that the local knowledge and expertise, full-scale sales and marketing cooperation, centralized financial control and uniform brand Identity are very important for an international logistics provider.

According to Vanguard Logistics experiences, there are three types of logistics network: exclusive and non-exclusive independent networks, wholly-owned network through “Green-fielding”  and  wholly-owned network through acquisition. The combinations of those three points are the best solution for establish global network.
